Minassian-Young Vineyards
Minassian-Young Vineyards is located in the heart of westside Paso Robles. On the estate, is a 36 year-old dry farmed zinfandel vineyard with new plantings of Syrah, Counoise and Mourvedre.
MYV’s wine production focuses on Zinfandels and Rhône blends. MYV is a husband and wife team, David and Amparo Young. Their scientific backgrounds reflect in their wine making practices.
Wines are produced in a consistent manner, where the differences between vintages arise from variables that cannot be controlled such as, temperature and rainfall. In addition, wines are produced without blending fruit from multiple vineyards. This minimalist approach ensures that every vintage is representative of the terroir for each vineyard.
