Paso Robles

The Paso Robles American Viticulture Area (AVA) is located midway between San Francisco and Los Angeles on California’s central coast, covering roughly 24 square miles and a multitude of microclimates. More than 26,000 acres are planted to vineyards that provide fruit for Paso Robles wineries and others throughout the state. Characteristics of the region include the greatest diurnal temperature swing of any California wine region, varied soil compositions and dozens of distinct microclimates. The results are more than 40 winegrape varieties - from Spanish to Italian, Bordeaux to Rhône, including the well loved California Zinfandel.
